Much as women of the 18th and 19th Centuries made Needlepoint Samplers to show their abilities, I had a thought that an Inlay Sampler might be nice to showcase what types of things I like to incorporate for decorative details. Stringing is made of Holly and Ebony and the fan is alternating Maple and Walnut. Sampler background is American Black Walnut. I am designing a nice frame to go around this to hang on my wall as a decorative object. Does anyone else do this? Weigh in fellas.

Not only are these great sample boards. It’s good practice and makes a nice wall hanging. Fine work.

Have your say...
