So my brother wanted a humidor with his companies logo on it. I have never made a humidor so it was a learning experience for me, and a great chance to use my Incra jig to make some fancy joints. The box is made of ash with walnut Eagle Tail joints. The company logo is from bubinga and the hinges are made from walnut and pegged with ash. Please leave honest feed back. Oh and I know I still need the humidifier and the hygrometer. The lid has a perfect seal when you let it shut it makes the “shwooosh” sound and slowly closes the last bit.

No he works for an oil company called Weatherford International, but the logo does look like a stealth bomber.

Very nice! I was thinking stealth also. :-)
Wooden hinges are often large and clumsy looking, but yours are outstanding.

The hinges are made using the Incra hinge crafter thingy. No nails at all, the only metal used was on the hinges for the hinge pin which is brass.

Bob
The Eagletail joints are unique to the Incra jig. When viewed from one side they look like box joints and from the other side dovetail joints.

Looks great! Are you planning on lining it with some cedar for humidity control?
