My grandson TJ (short for Thomas Jordan) was a high school stand out in golf. He started golfing at the age of 4, deviating from golf for a few years playing hockey but started playing golf seriously in high school. Now TJ is a sophomore at Brevard College located in Brevard NC, during his freshman year he was voted most valuable on the team. TJ has won many awards most recent was the Battle Creek, Michigan Junior Golf Championship for 2011. TJ asked me to make him a display rack where he could display some of his prize winning golf balls. I was very please to do so to say the least!!! This will hold 48 balls and is made for Red Oak and stained with Cabot cherry stain then I applied several coats of wipe on satin Polyurethane. I had a great deal of problems with the stain and asked my fellow LJ buddies for assistance, several came through with suggestions for which I am thankful. Buddie Jim Jakosh suggestions were the ones I followed the closest and the rack turned out almost perfect.

All comments, suggestion and questions are welcomed…. Thanks for looking!!

You did a fine job on it and it will give him a great place to display his trophy balls.
