Some Texas theme stuff I make for a local gift shop. The large Texas flag is 22” x 33”. The smaller flag is 12” x 18”. The Texas state outlines are 18” and 9”. The red white and blue colors are from a water based stain. The finish is Thompson Water Seal.

Nice looking piece, love the colored stain. Do you mind telling me how you make the star, like is it cnc routed?

The star is cast metal, several of the “gift shop” sell them in different sizes.
They are used on a lot of Texas style things.
They are real cheap and probably made in Mexico or China.
The cast rusts very quickly and a lot of the ones I get have rust on them.
The ones on the Texas outline and the small Texas flag were cleaned and painted white.
The Texas outline and “Texas” was done with a scroll saw.
The stain is acrylic water based craft paint sold by WalMart, I mix it with water to make the stain.
