I really like these.
Are you using the dyes as watercolor paints, with an artist’s brush?
It’s something I’ve been experimenting with in marquetry.
It certainly looks good here.

Verrrrry interesting! I’m not familiar with ‘copper etching’... what is that procedure and where in your project did you use it. (I’ll feel silly for asking if you did it on the copper corner pieces, but I still don’t know what the procedure is and what it does for the project.)
