A very nice design and well crafted. I had never heard of Sheoak before so I looked it up. You are fortunate to have access to this fine wood.

That is one very fine turning and the Sheoak is perfect. You’ve given me the incentive to get back on the lathe after what’s been a long break. In fact I just popped out to the shed to see if, amongst all the bowl blanks that I’ve been given over quite some time, there might have been a Sheoak one. unfortunately not, no matter, in the next day or two I’ll choose one of them and see what I can come up with .
