The flag box was made for my best friends fathers flag. He served in Korea and was awarded the purple heart. The box is made of curly cherry and curly maple. There are 7 maple stripes and 7 cherry stripes to symbolize the red and white stripes of the flag. The finish is a 2000 grit sanding and bush finishing oil.

The plexie is in there in the pic its not showing very well. But I left a slot in the bottom tho, so he could change it to glass later if he chooses to.

VERY well done, Jason.

You did an excellent job there J. It’s a labor of love that goes into a project like this, specially when doing one is one to many. It’s a great way to display Old Glory in recognition of one who has served, thank you!
