Built a shop table a couple months ago 4 hours. With help of some great instructions by Lockwatcher, I modified the dimensions a little bit as I wanted a larger work surface. I went with 48×24 MDF top which I plan to seal… some how and a mdf bottom shelf which is not in the picture. I plan to build a few more of these for other uses.

Also I made the bottom rails 4 inches so that I can load up the bottom self over the 48” span. Wish I had time to add more projects been working on a gut reno of my first home. Any been pretty busy with it.

Nice simple, yet functional design. I am sure it will have a thousand uses.

Update this bench now houses a Dewalt Planer and Delta Router/Shaper all plug into onboard outlet for single plug-in ability.

Nice to see that you were able to build the Easy Shop Table!

Even better to see that you modified my plan to fit your shop…I have built a number of these in various sizes, and have used them for a planer stand, a sharpening station, and even an assembly table…

I sealed my MDF top with Poly, and some of my tables have Formica style tops.

Looks great, Lockwatcher
