Welcome back JMG, nice to (finally) see some of your projects. The demilune is spot on for the style, nicely balanced design with a classic look but some original touches. The tripod base is interesting too, but you should learn to use that camera, the angles make it look a bit awkward (hehe ;p)

Whoever chastized you must not have known about your talent. I love the first table; the top reminds me of a split daisy. The second with the articulated legs looks arachnoid to me; very cool. You’ve got a lot of skill.

Welcome back. I’m sorry that you were chastised.

Looks like you are pushing the edge between function and design on the second table? Llike what I can see, and would like to see more of the table as I feel the picture may not do it justice?

Thanks Doc, I am in the process of working on it, took it apart already but I am as well renovating a house, windows, floor and kitchen all with wood so this is a “free” time project… :-)

I understand. LOL priorities are wanna, needa, and gotta.
I did 4 house projects to get ready for winter. My cabinet making is the last on my priorities list, but I have been cleaning and organizing my workbenc. I now can see 3/4s of it. LOL Once there I am getting out my chisels to sharpen, which is how I got to this project.
May all your problems be solveable.

Fess up Doc, you know the more benches you have the more stuff you find (or buy) to put on top of them, I am on my second bench, planning the third, and I know I won’t have any space on it either when I am done with it… :-)
