Tell you what I just love the shape of this…. Reminds me of something I would see on the movie Avatar… Can’t quite see it as a hand bag…. But that doesn’t stop the fact I think it is cool as heck!

Very nice shape and carving. The handbag is something a movie icon could use walking on the red carpet to carry her swag.

How long did it require to make and what is the wood used and finish?

Very nice

Beautiful, original and skillfully executed.

Will you leave it as is unfinished or is it going to get oiled/varnished or suchlike?

Originality is hard to achieve with most stuff falling into one group or other, “traditional” influences, “arts & crafts”, “asian”, “rustic” etc etc. Very unusual to see something that really stands out and defies classification. Just browsing projects today I have seen a couple of new contributors posting very interesting original ideas, very inspiring.

Thanks also as this has rekindled an idea I had lost somewhere among all the others for some sculptural work with plywood playing with those isorithmic patterns which certainly worked for you on this project. Mmm, Always loved maps, and woodgrain, and patterns… definitely inspired!

That is THE most unusual handbag I have ever seen; and I have seen thousands. Back when I was in business importing and exporting, I sold handbags by the gross to chain retailers. Your design is definitely unique, not to be sold by the gross! It is a conversation piece for sure!
