Need for a gate presented itself so I built a monster of a gate to keep my dog and geese in. The gate is 2m tall, 1.5m wide and weighs just under 80Kg. Built it from old roughed up steel plate pallets. All pine, then carved and shaped with a grinder to remove most of the nail marks and dings. Stained with a wood sealer and hung once for a life time with 150×30 solid bullet hinges. Hinges almost way as much as the gate! Lets see my dog brake thru this gate! (Thats why I needed the new gate)

That’s a beast of a gate and a beaut. What kind of dog do you have?

I don’t mean to be critical, but I think you installed your gate sideways.. ;)
