Still playing with colors and shapes.

These are just way too much fun to make.

Number 1 & 2 is made with maple, purpleheart, padauk and walnut.

Number 3 is made with 23 different strips of wood.

Number 4 is walnut and maple.

Number 5 is a 3-1 pattern, 3 walnuts, then a cherry, then repeat. This is my favorite because the sap wood in the walnut makes a marbled effect.

They are all good looking boards! Maybe too good, cuz people wouldn’t want to make the first cut on them!

Great looking boards. Nice color choices and combinations. What angle of cut did you use on the first one?

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and so little time!

Hi Robert.
  1. 1 & 2 are from the same glue up, just arranged different. The angle is about 18 degrees.

All these boards have great color combinations and patterns. I like them all and my favorite one is the one with all the strips. Great work.

Bob, these boards are so colorful and interesting. I love the pattern and all of the different wood and they are so pleasing to my eye. Congratulations on a job well done.
