The table, top, skirt, and legs were made from a single sheet of veneered core-board. I use a second skirt, just inside of the skirt showing which allow the four legs to slide in with a friction fit making them easily removed for moving the table up and down stairways, or for storage.
To get cleaner glue lines and crisper definition between the stained table and the white edging, I stained and lacquered the wood prior to cutting and assembling it.
