I only ever played at wood working until I was asked to make this as a gift. I learnt a whole lot from the build and built a jig to go along with it, solving problems is a lot of fun. Making the mistakes only makes me want to try harder and get a better finish next time.

Sorry, but I’m not seeing any mistakes… It looks like a perfectly Good Job to me!!
Congratulations on the box, and also on your up-coming Year Anniversary!!

The underside of the lid is a laugh out loud surprise. Great handle, the text on the lid says it all to anyone wondering. A fine utility box.

Great looking box. Nice design.

-- You will never build it unless you try. The second one always turns out better.

For someone who keeps heirloom seeds for the garden?

If this is what you get when you are used to “playing around with woodworking”, imagine what you could do if you got serious about learning!
