This is a chair that I made for my son from a large pine log. The original log was about 32 inches tall and about 24 inches in diameter. Most of it was cut away with a chainsaw and then finished off by hand with a chisel and a lot of sanding. It was then sealed with several coats of polyurethane.

A gift for a child is redemptive . He may outgrow it physically , but he will always treasure it in his
