This is a small box I made for the pocket knife that my little girl received from her Papaw. It is made from Walnut with Oak inserts and finished with semi-gloss poly. It started off as chunk of wood from a log that I had to cut down to size with only a table saw so it isn’t perfect. Lots of fun building though.

-- You will never build it unless you try. The second one always turns out better.

Beautiful box and what a great idea. It is nice to hear of a pocket knife going down through the family. Makes them so special
