Continuing my draw to reused materials, here is another pallet chair. This chair was made from a single pallet and I left it very rough. It was sanded enough to remove splinters and any rough ends and then sealed with a few coats of semi-gloss polyurethane. It is very strong and is one of my favorite pieces that I have built. I really like the different wood colors, the paint, nail holes, weathering and other random marks that give it character.

two things….WOW…and any plans on making a 3 piece suite…
this shows what can be made from the rubbish we create every day….we need a few(thousand)more men and women like your self to give ideas on recycling …

Pretty neat idea and it turned out fantastic. I am currently working on a project along the same lines of re-using material. I am making a book shelf/case for kids that is made out of an old wooden wire reel. I will post once I have completed.

Take a few of these to one of those fancy decor stores and people will pay a fortune for one to sit in their yard next to their cement goose!
