This is a cutting board i made for a client with the left over birch wood from his stairs that we made as well just a little something extra to personalise the job we did and to say thank you to the owner. We designed the home and built it complete, they have seven children and it burnt down this winter. The cutting board is a copy of the lake where the house is located and i free handed the drawing onto the wood from google maps its about 22’ in length. i hope you enjoy this if you want to make one of your own it only took 2 hrs to dress the lumber, glue it up, plain it, cut it out router the sides and sand it. have a great day and keep on creating.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Great idea on the shape. I’m sure they loved it.
