This was designed like a face frame cabinet in case we wanted to later add doors. The scroll work on the bottom (actually done on the band saw) was designed to match a purchased cabinet that would sit below the bookcase. The bead board in the back also matched the purchased cabinet. The 2 shelves are solid poplar about 11” x 48”. All the trim was made from poplar on the router table.
