Wine Box Top Clock

I love this clock idea and might do more similar clocks with other wooden wine case tops. I took the top and cut the opening for the pendulum. Then drilled the 2 different hole and plug sizes for the numbers from an unknown scrap of wood I had. Then cut the frame pieces from another ‘unknown’ wood. I then had to cut the length of the pendulum so that it fit centered in the hole. I really like the way the whole thing came out, and the only thing I might have to do is get a shorter shaft clock movement with a pendulum. Anyone have some suggestions just in case I start making a bunch more?

Nice idea that I haven’t seen before. I have quite a few wooden wine boxes in the basement and have been trying to figure out what to do with all of them. This gives me another option, as well as a couple of ideas.

I’m not sure if copyright infringement is really something to worry about. I didn’t reproduce anything, I only used a piece that the company already printed. Maybe someone knows better than that one way or another, it would actually be really nice to know for sure…
