Nive work, Brian. What kind of wood? Were is this scene? How did you finish it? More detaila and a short story always increases my interest level on any project.

Brian, well I wish I could carve. This scene really strikes a chord with me as I love the outdoors. Makes me think of my son who is a Tenderfoot Boy Scout. Nice woork. I agree with Don – a short description would be great. What species of wood?

Brian, in case my post above was misunderstood, it should have read, “Nice work, Brian.”

Another nice carving by you. This carving would look great in a frame. Did you get my explanation abut framing a multi-level carving ?
If it wasn’t clear enough, just ask, & I might be able to clear things up.

I just looked at the instructions for the frame,Thank you I’m going to try it on this carving
This carving is done in 2” thick eastern birch and the finish is sanding sealer and floor wax.
This is not a picture I took but it looks like a area that I have fished.

Beautiful piece of carving Brian. Went back to look at your other projects and they sure are outstanding also. It’s wonderful to see work by a true artisan. Very much looking forward to seeing more of your carving in the future. Thanks for posting this and your other pieces.
