This is for my 15 year old Grandson. It’s Brazilian Walnut & Curly Maple….The play area is 16×16 I used dowels and gorilla glue…The only scews were used help hold the pulls. Finish is wipe on poly (semi-gloss) over Zar sanding sealer The pieces are Walnut & Fir…Play on.

The pieces are really cool. Did you use a plan for them?

This is a beautiful chess set and board. Nice work.

I love everything about this set…. the design of the board and the pieces. Excellent craftmanship! This is my first time seeing your site. It is indeed a real pleasure. Wally
