We needed a new kitchen table. This is smaller than the previous glass table. The top is 37”x37” and I spaced the legs so there is 28” clearance on the inside of the legs for my daughter’s wheelchair.
The top is QS red oak and the legs and apons are painted poplar. The aprons are morticed into the legs and I put a 45 degree cross piece at each corner for added strength. The table doesn’t wobble.
Thanks for looking.

What a wash of great grain. This would certainly brighten up your morning. Great edge treatment with a subtle base and a glowing finish. Nice.

Thank you for the kind words. The finish is semi gloss, oil based poly – about 6 coats to fill most of the grain. The white paint is Rustoleum gloss white, it dries the hardest that I have found without going to a pre-cat finish.
