This was my first project ever. It’s several years old but still has a place in the house. It took forever to build but it was a wonderful introduction to this amazing craft.
Table base is made of hard maple with a cherry top and drawer. It’s all hardwood and was finished with a homemade Danish oil.

This is a nice job. If you really want to get my attention just mention cherry. The table has a really nice finish and the top boards match up well. Nice choice of woods too. Cherry and maple go well together.
Thanks for the post.

Very pretty little side table. Gorgeous wood. The cherry you chose for the front just jumps right out at you. The proportions are great. Nice job.
