A tall red oak curio cabinet designed to fit in a specific space. There was a door to the right that had to clear the cabinet when opened. The cabinet was 92” tall, 9” deep and 19” wide. The double door cabinet (the last photo) was the model for the tall cabinet. Originally we discussed having one tall door on the tall cabinet but settled on two. One tall door (nearly 80” tall) would have been a challenge to keep flat.

The real challenge was matching the trim moldings to the original. Both the top and bottom moldings were multiple pieces manufactured on a router table. The pieces were then assembled to form the final molding profiles..

nice work… fits where needed… just blow air duct and not in way of an opening door on the right. ADVANTAGE… custom made.

Really nice. Red oak gets a lot of abuse around here, but I think it’s beautiful when finished well.

It’s a wonderful, quaint looking cabinet. I like it.

I thinks red oak is an awesome choice for cabinetry. Great looking cabinet. Good job.
