This bed was a gift to my brother and his wife on their 25 wedding anniversary. It was made from southern yellow Pine and Mississippi cedar. the woods were finished natural with spray on poly .
This one does have some mortise and tenons and some screws as the joinery notice the foot of the bed , I put some fir trim around the cedar and the pine, when I finished it i noticed I had the foot turned around backwards on the wall and the trim was on the wrong side. O well
hope y `all enjoy

Looks good! I’m sure your brother and his wife were thrilled!

Very nice bed. That was a great anniversary gift. I can’t see the foot problem and I do see the difference in the trim but to me it just looks like it was engineered that way.

The bed looks good to me. I would be happy to produce a piece like this.

Thanks for sharing.

Great looking bed. I like the footboard.
