I recently finished this piece up for my gallery in Cody. The top is made of walnut as well as the bottom. I tried to make it as thin as possible to give it a floating effect. The sap wood on the slab had some worm holes in it so made the front of the walnut curve but was able to keep some of the lighter wood to give it a contrast.

Very rustic looking and perfect for some timber framed houses.
