Several weeks I was given some black walnut from a tree that had to be taken down at a local plantation home, with the only condition being, that I turn some pieces to give back to the gift shop. I was more than happy to make some pieces for the gift shop. The wood is great to work with and I get some exposure for my work. I still have a good bit of wood so I will be making some more items as I get the time

Bobby, great looking stuff. Did you darken the walnut or was it this dark? Outstanding lathe work. Should get some notice at the shop, and maybe you can sell some of your non free stuff there?
