This project was my first attempt at building a shooting box for sporting clays …. consequently, the box
that gave my brother-in-law the urge to say, “where’s mine?”
I used casing from a 12 ga. to serve both as handles and also legs to the front door could also be used as a small
table top. This box also has decorative wood shotgun shells running up each front corner of the box that
I turned on the lathe.
Like anything … once you build one then you start to make modifications that are both decorative and have some utility function.
