I was just so impressed by this brilliant device, and equally impressed with all of the different versions posted on LJ, that I just had to make one. I still need to add the set screw to account for the blade thickness, but it is otherwise finished. I am going to be making an organizer for our junk drawer and should put this thing to some good use for the dados and half laps.

I used walnut and cherry scraps, and some hardware that I had already. I can’t wait to try it out.

Enjoy using your kerfmaker. It is a really neat tool, that is useful and easy to make.
