This is a vanity that I’m working on for our new bathroom. The carcass is made of cabinet grade birch plywood. The face frames, doors, & drawer fronts are made from cherry. The top (which I haven’t finished yet) is cherry as well. I plan to use a glaze coating that is supposed to go on as thick as 60 coats of varnish. I’ll update this when I get it done. I haven’t put the finish on because the directions specify temps between 70 & 80 & my shop is not air conditioned. I don’t want it to start to dry too quick.
(BTW I just noticed that I need to take some new pics as these are blurry…....sorry folks.)

<edit> Here’s a shot of the counter top. It’s not finished but this project is starting to feel like it will never be finished ;^) </edit>
<edit> Finally! Got a decent finish on the top! Now on to the floor and plumbing. lol </edit?

Beautiful. I’m also working on a bathroom vanity right now, hope mine turns out even half as handsome.

very nice, but be careful with full inset solid wood drawers in a bathroom. you might not get them open after a long steamy shower.

Mike, I’ve tried to maintain a descent gap but, I’ve got quite a few handplanes that will take care of sticky drawers. ;^)
BTW, I don’t know if you noticed but the vanity matches the details on this cabinet
