I’ve been on LJ’s for over a year and this is the first project I’ve posted. The last year of trying to put a shop back together, being care giver to my father in-law, and throwing my back out has really slowed things up. I bought these Marple Chisels (Made in England) on e-bay and figured they needed a home. The wood is cut offs from the oak trim in my house. Planed them down to 1/2” and used my Shopnotes homemade jig to do the box joints. A little BLO and now on to the next project. Time to finally finish putting my Clearvue DC together and run the pipe and I can get on to making sawdust again. Coming attraction will be an entertainment center for the wife. Thanks for looking and sorry it took so long.

Welcome to LJ’s. I like your first submittal. Great choice to protect those tools.

I wouldn’t worry about taking your time. I was skulking around in the shadows for about 50 days before I dared post anything. Nice to see English tools reaching overseas. Most things seem to be Chinese these days. Nice tool box. Welcome to the posting world.
