This is a quilt rack I made my friend a few months ago and surprised her with it. This is her first ever handcrafted piece of furniture, she was surprised !!!
The quilt rack is made from 5/4 quarter sawn red oak and the grain filled with a tinted pour o pac grain filler.
The rack was stained with a golden oak stain and 3 coats of Crystalac top coat and hand rubbed out.
All the rails are mortised into the sides and screwed together from the side.
Just thought I would share ….........enjoy.

Now that is a quilt rack anyone, I know I would be proud to own! You did a magnificent job on it, Al!

Very nice, the inlay really sets it apart from the rest of the pack.
