Nothing special but I liked the grain. The piece measures 4 1/2 ” H x 3 1/4” W aniline dyed with a wipe on poly finish. Thanks for looking. Lou

Maybe, but it looks good and adds nicely to your projects. Nice turnings. I have a long way to go, to make anything decent on my lathe.

It looks pretty special to me. Your work allowed the wood to show its beauty and also make it functional. One day-I gotta get a lathe! Thanks for sharing.

I beg to differ Lou. As Rick stated, it looks pretty special. Another nice turning. A friend of a friend just completed a week long turning course at North Bennet Street School. I remember how you drooled over those wonderful Powermatic lathes. I will have to find out how he liked it.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Lenny I’d like to know how he liked it too. I would like to take that class myself. Thanks again.

Lew,
I agree with Skylark53, It sure do Look Special To Me….. Very nice indeed!! I enjoy looking at wood that has a finish that lets its natural beauty show through, and this one does just that.

Thanks for sharing!
