This small piece of walnut (3.75” wide) was beaded and buffed waxed finished. It was an project to practice using a D-way beading tool. Thanks for looking and C&C always welcomed.

A very graceful form and a rich brown walnut colour, lovely.Did you encounter any tear-out when cutting against the grain with the D-way beading tool?

Great turning, I’ve got a beading tool but have never used it to this extent. Wonderful.

vipond33- the walnut was very dry and the D-Way tool cut cleanly with a slight rocking motion.

Lovely job Will, looks like a pretty good “practice” sesion with that beader came up real nice indeed, love that walnut :)
