The school that my wife works at asked me to build them a table for morning tardy assignments and make up testing. This is what i cam e up with. Best part is I got paid for the the job.

Top is Red oak, and the base is Clear pine primed and painted black. Customer liked it so much they are going to find a different table for Tardy’s and move this one to the office.

If you live in Texas around Waco, El Paso or San Antonio, please let me know I have discovered a new Hardwood supplier, they have great selection and prices are awesome, compared to Woodcraft they are half the price with 10 times the selection. Had to pass that along.

I like the black against the oak. What sheen of black did you use?

Eric the black is a matte finish that should handle any kick marks or chair scrapes.

Thanks
