This bird house is a few years old. The cacti are hand carved and faux painted. I couldn’t quiet decided what to do with the little pot, so I chucked it into my drill press, ran it at a slow speed, and painted the stripes.

Love your design. Some rope or twine would add some cool texture and authenticity on your next one.

John, No birds, this one is just decoration.

Miles, I like your idea about twine. I just looked closely at the picture and saw the lump of hot glue on the ladder. I can’t believe I never saw that before. I think I’ll rebuild the ladder and bind it with twine.
