My client wanted a louvered door for her tall bathroom storage shelves but didn’t want to clean traditional louvers. The door’s rails and styles were made of 3/4” basswood (to keep the weight down) with mortise and tenon joinery. A 1/8” baltic birch plywood panel was inset flush into the back. The louvers on the front were pieces of primed MDF case molding that were epoxied in place. All the louvers were ripped to width and had a dadoed groove down the back side, once again to reduce the weight of the door.

Looks good I think but my neck hurts. Can you turn your images right side up please?

They’re good on my computer when I look at them. For some reason Lumberjocks software rotates them when they get downloaded. I’ll try rotating them to the left on my computer and maybe they’ll end up with the correct orientation.

Success, the pictures are now orientated correctly. The door is 78 inches tall.
