The basket was originally intended to be used as a laundry hamper, but as the design matches a bed I have made a while ago for my daughter (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/47606) she asked me to stain it to the same color as her bad and she is going to use it for better uses…
The basked is made out of European beech stained with water based dye and finished with waterborne polyurethane.
In case anyone is interested I have uploaded a sketchup model to the sketchup warehouse at http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=3e64a7042776f19adc9938c9fceb2ffd&prevstart=0

Awesome!! Maybe you need to keep laming them until she uses one as a hamper ;-))

That is one whole lot of perfect tenons, indestructible I would think. The glue up and cleanup must have been difficult. Beautifully designed and executed. Bravo!
