Project Information

Well a week from this Saturday, my family and I leave for Myrtle Beach SC for my grandparents 50th anniversery. So after I got done arguing with my dad and going through the silent period, I made a deal with my dad that we would do a project together and not argue at all. so we made the board and got it sanded down and I then suggested that we do something a little different from the original design of the board. So my dad responds this is you decision and I want you to do it. So I took some 3/4" White Ash and cut it at 1 1/2" so there is a 1/4" lip at the bottom of the board to use as a stand and tray and then the top is the cutting board. I also put (8) 1/2" plugs made from cedar around the edge of the cutting board for astetics. So I had a lot of fun doing this project. Until next time

What a beauty, Adam! You and your Dad did a fantastic job. The plugs really add to the overall look.

If you are getting anywhere near Gettysburg, PA on your trip, give me a hollar.

Hey Adam, that is a great job.
It looks like it came out perfectly. And I really like the frame with plugs.

That is a tough build. If you and your Dad can work together on such a project, you guys can do anything together.

Good for you,
Steve

The 3D effect is great. I can't decide if I'm looking at boxes or peaks. Great stuff.
