going away chest I built. Used pine. Cedar strips on the top of the lid. Box joints on the corners, rounded over with my router. Old USMC recruiting postcards on the top.

Another real nice one, the box joints really make a statement, the overall look is strong and nostalgic, fitting representation of service, thanks for sharing

I have looked at your projects and i really like them.Thanks for your service to our country i was in the navy and my father is a ret master sergeant.As a young man i spent a lot of time in Parris Island and the Beaufort area.I think that it is great that you take the time to build these things for the people that serve our country.Thanks again and keep up the good work i know it makes a lot of people happy
