This is a small Cedar bowl I decided to turn out of a small chunk of left over Cedar from another project I did. Sanded to 320 grit and finished with a good soaking of Orange oil and beeswax mixture (I found at Home Depot, which I’m very happy with and would recommend to everybody to try) and 3 coats of Myland’s Friction Polish. I have been experimenting with different finishes for my bowls and this one came out awesome. It’s by far the most shiny finish I have put on any of my bowls. I’ll be sticking to this finish for my bowls. All comments are welcome, good or bad.

Fine looking bowl. I thought that big knot in the middle might have snagged you but
it came out great.

Thank Nick & Andrew. Nick, it is a must try and its cheap. If all else fails your work will smell like oranges.
Murch, I was kinda worried bout it myself but it never gave me a bit of problems.
Thanks Pete.

This is the most attractive Cedar turning you have done. Nice.
