I have had this piece of wood laying around for a long time, I had actually forgotten about it until I stumbled upon it a few weeks ago. Once I saw it, the idea just clicked and I had to finish this piece.

This piece I call “Eternal Flame”. It is made out of juniper and is one solid piece. I inlayed turquoise throughout and it was a very tedious process. I then finished it with satin polycrylic.

It measures 29” tall 16” wide 19” deep

Once again a very artistic interpretation of natures beauty. Well done.

Very cool. Its amazing how some pieces are just so neat that you have to put them aside for a while and wait to figure out what to do with them, and then one day it just hits you and a beautiful creation unfolds. Thanks for posting this up.

Yeah junipercanyon, I almost chopped it up for wind chimes, but i listened to my gut and left it alone. I am very happy with this piece and the great thing is that it has already found an owner.

Thank you Max, it is an honor to be able to share what we do!

Very impressive piece, perhaps red colored rock chips might be more appropriate to symbolize flames? JMO

Now thats what I call art. something I can relate too. Beautiful piece. The time you spent with the inlay was worth it. You have a eye for beauty, I have an eye for sawdust.
