i had a little idea and this is what grew from it…a little artist box…made from ceder which dents from just looking at so the joints were fun…
300mm in length by 145×145…
sides are 10mm thick and all other sections are 4 mm(ish)...
all joints are glued rebates which were machined in a spindle moulder with a 6”block(all health and safety was followed..honest…im still typing see..)
finished in a clear sealent the dark oak wax and buffed unevenly to give a slight aged look…inside left as nature intended…thinking to do as a income (bit of a cheek to ask) what price would be recomended as i dont have much experience in pricing work..
total labour time if finger is pulled out…8 hrs + 2hrs for glueing and finish..
all coments good and bad welcome.
many thanks…

Really beautiful.
I would love a artist box like that.

I can’t help you on pricing BUT I do like your artist box. The top divider trays are great.

Sharp looking box, nice wood and clean construction, on the price, that is a hard question to answer with surety, I would suggest researching similar boxes (style, wood type, construction, ect) on line and do some comparison shopping, you should be able to get a ball park figure, factors for pricing may be a great subject for a forum topic, thanks for sharing

I would say a gazillion dollars because artists have no money at all. Never seen cedar looking so good. I’ll definitely reconsider it as a material. Seriously? $200.
