This is the first frame I have ever made. Somehow I ended up doing all the woodworking for my battalion after our last deployment. I made this set of tables and ever since then I have been honing my skills. This is walnut with oak trim. I made it for a parting gift for my brigade commander. It is part of an apache helicopter he was flying that was shot. I have made a few more since then and I really enjoy it. Thanks for looking.

Just as a note I made this as I was asked to make it. Had I made it for myself I would have done it a little differently. Any suggestions would be great.

Looks really good, nice work but since you asked for suggestions here is mine, i personally would make the outside
frame bigger then the inside frame, just a suggestion !!!

Thanks, you know I was thinking the same thing after I built it. I was also thinking I should have put some kind of backing to the photo’s and metal pieces.
