Wow! What a great idea! This one belongs in my todo list for my grandkids. Thank you so much for sharing.

Hawaiilad Larry,

Sorry no pattern. This one came out of my head. It began with a 1/2” piece of cherry the length of five dominos plus 1/4”. Rather than install my dado blade, I simply tilted my table saw blade to about 10 degrees, ripped the cherry then glued the strips to a oversized (1’8” all around) piece of 1’8” plywood using the dominoes and a piece of cardboard as a spacer. The sides were maple with cherry strips glued to both edges. I put a groove on the inside of the sides for the domino holder to fit into. The corners were simple rabbet joints. Four screws, a bit of glue and some cherry plugs finished it off.
