Thank god this is finally done !!! :-)
I started this 40 room house back in Jan 2009 and i finally got it done today . This bird hotel has 40 rooms , rooftop pool , lots of tanning balconies and is made from 100 year old reclaimed barn wood , hemlock .
It is 7 ft tall 7 ft wide and 5 ft deep . The railings are 5/16 ” solid steel .
I plan on adding in my yard somewhere :-) It weighs about 400 lbs and will be mounted on a single post !

That’s something else, John. In the background, one of the dogs is staring jealously. :-)

well this is a behemoth…you worked hard on this one john congrats buddy on accomplishing this one…its grand…sure glad you have help getting this up…the one ive got isnt near as heavy , but its heavy…you’ll see it soon….., but maybe you can do a doggie palace for that dog in the back ground…or just put a large hole in this one and put a ramp onto it for the dog to climb up and into this one…lol…that would be cool…have your dog stickin his head out from about 7 feet in the air…haha…......good luck john…grizz

How many bird houses you got? Holy cow! I count at least four or five others already in those pictures!

Awesome job, John. Really cool!

You are truly the king of birdhouses.
You should build your dogs an extreme doghouse.

Your bird mansions are nothing short of amazing. Been noticing your other posts and it’s past time to comment and compliment your work.
