This is a bird house that was built with a little bit of every left over wood, garden rock and cedar door shims that I had laying around the shop and garage. It is mounted on a piece of pine. It kind of has a Swiss Chalet flavor to it in the decorative truss structure and scallops.

The rock is run of the mill white garden rock and has been epoxied on the sub-straight. It is rather heavy but should with stand any weather that comes its way.

Max, I can’t think of any self respecting bird that wouldn’t want to live in this cottage… Great Job!

Thanks for sharing!

sedcokid,

You are far to kind, but thanks for the compliment. Nothing fancy by any means.

Very cool birdhouse. Hmm now if I just had one of those full-size in the Swiss Alps I’d be set!!

Well done. Good use of scrap materials, creative design, should be greatly appreciated by the tenants.

Loved the birdhouse. I make a few myself and find it is a great way to use up the scraps as it seems I never throw anything out!
