My first trial of dovetail key miter joint.
Both projects are designed based on the projects in ShopNoites magazine issue 116.
The miter corner was shaved using the shooting board (Please see my previous project)
Thanks to the shooting board and the key jig, I could make pretty good miter joints.
I have reconfirmed that the appropriately build jig improved the result very much.

Favorited. This is a very cleverly designed tote. The plywood kills my eyes but I understand completely why you did it. I have to spend a bit more time with the jig to fully comprehend it (I’m a bit slow at times). But back to the tote…I’m currently building a wall mounted variety and I plan to steal some of your ideas here. It’s really well thought out.

Yes, to both laudatory comments above, it reminds me of this really cool tool chest that Norm was showing off, there was a video someone had posted here on the site, Your clever and ingenious layout is outstanding, the craftsmanship is very nice as well, thanks for sharing

nice tote. and you really made good use of it’s space as you really wedged a lot into it.

Great tote!
These are really dovetail-shaped splines, right? Cut with the jig with the corners already assembled?
If so, what a great idea!
Thanks for the inspiration.
