Here is the framework for the mantle I have yet to finish. I included the drawing showing the basic panel layout. Obviously there have been (and will continue to be) modifications to the plan.

originally it was going to be 100% walnut, but I’m toying with the idea of some lighter inlays/panels and possibly stained glass in the upper cutouts. I hope to be back on this within the next two weeks. Will keep updates coming.
